Prenatal Yoga Classes

Prenatal yoga is an effective and safe way to promote relaxation and reduce stress, which positively impact pregnancy and birth outcomes. Attending an in-person prenatal yoga class can help you build a supportive community, connect with other expectant individuals, and share this transformative experience.

A regular prenatal yoga practice can strengthen your body, improve flexibility, and provide relief from common pregnancy discomforts. The postures you learn will energize you throughout your pregnancy and equip you with practical techniques to prepare for childbirth. We’ll explore breathing exercises, birthing positions, and other valuable labor techniques. You’ll also receive handouts on birth preparation as well as resources for the prenatal and postpartum periods.

It is recommended to wait until after 14 weeks gestation before practicing prenatal yoga. Space is limited.

Birth Planning Workshops

Navigating a birth plan can feel daunting. Ease into the process with a private or small group Birth Planning Workshop

Each workshop includes-

  • A 22 page Birth Plan Guide full of education, birth plan templates and mindful ways to think through your preferences.
  • Personal one-on-one time with a certified birth and postpartum doula to ask questions and explore your options.
  • Hands on comfort measures and pain management techniques for labor and birth
  • Email access throughout your pregnancy to ask questions and receive resources.
  • A full color labor position handout.
  • A comfort measures cheat sheet to use during labor and birth.

Private workshops for you and your support person can be offered in your home or at The Corrales Yoga Space. Small group workshops are held at The Corrales Yoga Space.
